A hydrogeologist by training, Dr Williamson has worked for more than 30 years on environmental issues related to mining Projects around the world. Currently he appraises and monitors the environmental and social issues related to the Bank's investment portfolio in the Natural Resources Sector in southern Europe, North Africa and Central Asia.
